Service Description
We understand the difficulties that may arise from not being able to travel or access public transportation independently from one place to another. Assistance with travel and transportation are utmost important as they facilitate participant to access basic necessities and improved social mobility in the community. One of our experienced staff member can accompany you to your destination and back to your home in a vehicle that is appropriate to your needs. Our transport services can be booked on an on-going basis such as weekly trips to the supermarket or for regular medial appointments.
Other services include the following:
- Assistance and training to use public transportation for greater independence
- Assistance with shopping, banking, and other errands
- Attending medical appointment, and other specialist visits
- Traveling to school or another educational facility
- Traveling to and from your place of work
- Participating in social outings or general community events
